Terms of Use

By downloading or using Pikko you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short.

Pikko is made by Narek Sumbatyan, an independent developer ("we", "us"). Pikko is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These terms add to the Apple EULA; if they conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

1. Pikko Premium

Pikko Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, yearly or monthly. The prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends).
The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancel or change your plan in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, tap "Restore purchases" to get Premium back on the same Apple ID.

2. Rules and "Ask the ref"

Rule explanations in Pikko are plain-language summaries written in our own words. They are not the official rulebook and not an official ruling. "Ask the ref" answers are written with AI and can be wrong or incomplete. In a tournament or any official match, the referee and the official rules decide.

Use "Ask the ref" for pickleball questions only. Don't send personal details, and don't try to misuse or overload it. We may limit the number of questions per day.

3. Scoring

We test the scoreboard carefully, but you are responsible for the score you agree on with other players. Pikko is a helper, not an official scorekeeper.

4. Training and your health

Pickleball and its drills are physical activity and can cause injury. Warm up, play within your limits, and check with a doctor before starting if you have any health concerns. You do the drills at your own risk.

5. Your data

How Pikko handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. Your matches and players are stored only on your iPhone; we can't recover them if they are lost.

6. Our content

The app, its texts, drills, diagrams and design belong to us. You may use them for your own play and training, but not copy or sell them. Pikko is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any pickleball organization.

7. No warranty and limits of liability

Pikko is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or that every feature will always work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using Pikko, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pikko Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

8. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Pikko after a change, the new terms apply.
